Jihee Han, Soprano, is an active performer in opera, concert and recital repertoire. Previous Roles include Pamina in The Magic Flute, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel with UT at Austin during 2015-2018 seasons, Damigella in L’Incoronazione di poppea and Lay Sister in Suor Angelica with New England Conservatory. She was also seen as Zerlina at the Don Giovanni preview at the Austin Opera in 2015. She performed many cantatas and oratorios in USA, and South Korea. As a soloist of UT Bach Cantata Project, she sang Bach Cantata BWV 22,23 and Christmas Oratorio BWV 248. In 2018, Ms. Han was also seen as the soloist of Mozart Requiem in Bates Hall, Texas. She has performed in master classes for famous musicians such as Maria Chiara and Jake Heggie, and has participated in many summer programs such as Aspen Music Festival and International performing Arts Institute. She has received awards from Sydney Wright Competition. CBS Music Competition, Music Journal Competition, Koreanishces Institut Fur Deutsche Kunstileder, and Kyungwon University Competition. Ms. Han’s previous teachers include Darlene Wiley, Lorraine Nubar, Hye Yeon Seo and Na Sook Han. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Seoul National University in Seoul, South Korea and a Master in Music in Opera Performance from New England Conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts. She has recently completed her Doctor of Musical Arts in Opera Performance at University of Texas at Austin.
Kate Winchester

Kate Winchester, a soprano, graduated from Westminster Choir College with an M.M. in Vocal Performance and Pedgagogy where she studied with Metropolitan Opera alumna Sharon Sweet. While at Westminster, she was the soprano soloist for the Symphonic Choir in the annually broadcast Readings and Carols concert. She has been a soprano soloist for several groups in New Mexico and Florida, including the Central Florida Master Choir in Ocala, FL, the Red Rock Strings in Gallup, NM, and the Sangre de Cristo Chorale in Los Alamos. She was a staff singer with the Cathedral Choir of St. John in Albuquerque for five years and sang with Polyphony: Voices of New Mexico, a professional choral ensemble based in Albuquerque, for six. She is a NATS member and has been teaching voice privately for close to a decade; her students have been active and successful at NATS auditions, in other competitions, and in various performances.
